It’s been a heck of a year/summer, and I know I’m not alone in saying I am SO excited that next week is September, which equals fall! Fall is, hands down, my favorite time of year. I love the weather, the leaves changing, and most of all, the fashion (obviously). Jackets, sweaters, booties, layers—fall itself is so versatile and full of endless cozy outfit options!
Today, I wanted to share my excitement for the impending fall season by sharing just a portion of my fall favorites. Over the knee boots, cozy sweaters, cardigans, scarves, fall hats, dresses, and skirts—I could go on but I have to stop somewhere. Browse it all below and start planning your fall wardrobe now!
Midi Sweater dresses
Midi dresses are a popular fashion piece which, depending on the style and fabric, can be worn at any time of the year. Since it's winter now, what better way to stay fashionable than to simply put on a midi sweater dress, and your whole outfit is done!
Sweater dresses in this length will look beautiful on pretty much everyone. For a taller girl, it will defilitely compliment her figure and give off that "wow" effect. And for a petite girl, it can help to elongate her figure if accessorized in the right way.
Knitted Pullover Sweater Jumpers
Patterns for pullovers, cardigans and vests that have been rated easy by their designers and/or your fellow knitters.
The pinafore denim dress or overalls/dungaree dress is super cute! With a retro feel, one thing is certain and that’s the fact that they are adorable. Pinafore denim dresses give a youthful and innocent edge to your outfit, making them incredibly feminine. The best way to wear a pinafore denim dress is layered over a girly or cute t-shirt or shirt and then teamed with some wedges or flats. Keeping it casual like this is definitely the way to go as you can’t really dress up a dungaree style dress to look classy, unless you opted for a black one and went with thigh high boots.
One of the most popular denim dress styles is the shirt dress. Some shirt dresses have subtle buttons on the front, much like a button up, but others are slip overs and they come in a variety of washes. What I think is the best way to wear a shirt dress is with heels and bare legs. The contrast of the amount of denim covering your torso combined with the bare legs and extra length is fantastic. It makes you look slimmer, chicer and gorgeous.
